The duck breast in strawberry sauce is a tasty and light main course. The strawberries pair very well with the distinctive taste of duck, a perfect combination. This dish is perfect for a candlelit dinner and also very quick to make.

Ingredients
- 2 duck breast
- 7 oz strawberries
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 sprig thyme
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- to taste balsamic vinegar
Tools

- 1 Pan non-stick cast iron
- 1 Baking Tray
Procedure
Wash and dry the strawberries. Leave 8 strawberries with the stem for decoration and remove it from the rest. Cut them into pieces and put them in a small pot with the honey, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cook over high heat for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, score the duck breasts forming diagonal lines on the skin side. Heat a cast iron pan and place the duck breasts skin side down. Sear well, remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Place in a preheated static oven at 392°F for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Cut into thin slices and arrange them on two plates. Drizzle the duck breast slices with strawberry sauce. Decorate with whole strawberries and a few drops of balsamic vinegar.
