Grilled fennel is a light and tasty side dish, also easy to prepare. They cook in a very short time, about 5 minutes per side, and are excellent both warm and cold. These grilled fennel can be seasoned in various ways, besides the ones I propose with garlic and chopped fennel fronds. To make them even more flavorful, you can add a mixture of anchovies and capers, some chopped and toasted nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, and olives. Fennel is a vegetable that pairs well with many flavors.
