This is a post-workout smoothie to enjoy after an intense physical activity. Hemp proteins are complete plant proteins, just like meat and fish. Hemp seeds contain about 30% protein, increase energy, reduce fatigue, help maintain and increase muscles and various organs, and are very nutritious and completely natural food. Furthermore, hemp seeds contain all the amino acids necessary for humans, including all essential amino acids.

Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 teaspoon peanut butter (gluten-free)
- 7 oz plant-based milk (no added sugars and gluten-free)
- 1 teaspoon hemp seeds

Steps
In the blender cup pour the plant-based drink, peanut butter, and hemp seeds.
Blend for a couple of minutes, until everything is combined.
Pour into a glass and decorate with some hemp seeds, serve.
WARNING: consult the Italian Celiac Association guide and carefully read the ingredients to ensure they are free from gluten contamination.
Tips
It can be stored for up to 3 hours out of the fridge in winter. In the summer season, it is advisable to store it in the fridge.
For the gluten-free version, ensure that all ingredients are certified.
FAQ
What plant-based drink can I use?
For lower sugar content, almond or soy milk is recommended. Otherwise, any will do, from rice milk to oat milk.
I don’t like peanut butter, how can I replace it?
You can replace it with any nut butter, from almond to hazelnut or pistachio.
