They can be accompanied with grilled vegetables or baked potatoes, depending on the season, even with grilled fennel and grilled pumpkin. The smoked chicken wings can also be prepared in the oven, using the grill function and occasionally glazing the chicken wings with bbq sauce.

Ingredients
- 3.3 lbs chicken wings
- 7 oz barbecue sauce
- 5 limes
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp sweet paprika
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground white mustard
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp thyme (dried)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried onion
- 1 tsp pepper

- 1 Grater
- 1 Baking dish

Steps
Grate the limes after washing and drying them well. Squeeze the juice and combine everything in a large baking dish or container.
Add the oil, salt, and pepper, then mix well. Add the chicken wings and mix everything together.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to marinate for 12 hours.
Mix all the spices. Drain the wings from the marinade.
Coat them in the rub and place them on the grill for indirect cooking.Smoke for 30 minutes with wood chips.
After 30 minutes, brush with barbecue sauce and continue cooking at 320°F for about 40 minutes.Serve hot.
Tips
They are best enjoyed fresh for their crispiness.
