- 1 Pandoro
- 8.8 oz Mascarpone
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- to taste Candied cherries
- 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 cup Heavy cream

Preparation of Christmas Star
Let’s see how to prepare the Christmas star.
Cut the base of the pandoro. Whisk the egg white until stiff. In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar and add the mascarpone at room temperature while mixing. Then fold in the whipped egg white. Using an electric whisk, whip the cream with the powdered sugar and add to the mascarpone cream. Fill the star with a nice layer of cream. Decorate with candied cherries
Notes
If you do not like candied fruit, decorate with fresh fruit and a dusting of powdered sugar or simply with chocolate curls.
