Preparation of Halloween Puff Pastry Spider

  • Let’s see how to prepare the Halloween spider.

Roll out the puff pastry with its parchment paper directly into the baking tray, spread Nutella over the entire pastry, cover with the other puff pastry. Use a large cup to shape the body by pressing down a bit, then use a small cup to create the head. With a knife, cut the pastry to create 8 legs and 2 antennae above the head. Use the knife to remove excess pastry, take 2 small pieces and roll them into balls to create the spider’s eyes. Twist each leg slightly, positioning 2 legs in front alongside the head, leaving 2 legs on the side and the other 2 backwards. With parchment paper, create 8 balls, 2 of which are larger, and place them under the legs, the larger ones under the front legs to create the bend. Brush with a bit of milk and bake in a preheated oven and bake at 356°F for about 15 minutes or until desired golden brown. Do not throw away the excess pastry, bake it separately. Serve decorated with cobwebs and Halloween spiders.

notes

As I always remind you, always check the baking because it can vary from oven to oven. If you have leftovers, store them in the oven, it will be enough to reheat for a few minutes.
