Homemade Meat Skewers


Today we wanted a nice juicy dish.
Homemade Meat Skewers are an excellent and tasty main course, very easy to prepare. Great to enjoy at dinner with friends and family.
Skewers can be prepared in many ways, alternating different ingredients, and the cooking method can also be varied, from classic grilling, oven cooking, and the pan cooking method I present to you, suitable if you don’t have time to prepare the barbecue or heat up the oven in time.

  • 1 lb Chicken breast
  • 2/3 lb Tuscan sausage
  • 3.5 oz Thick slice of bacon
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 3 slices Homemade bread
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 sprig Rosemary

Preparation of Homemade Meat Skewers

  • Let’s see how to prepare the skewers.

    Cut the meat into pieces of the same size, if possible, cut the pepper into pieces after washing well, and also cut the bread into pieces. Now start making the skewers by alternating pieces of meat, peppers, and bread. Heat a pan, season with salt and pepper, and start cooking the skewers, add a little chopped rosemary. I prepare them without adding oil, because the sausage and bacon release their fat, but if you want you can add a little olive oil.

Tip: 
Heat the pan well and use a non-stick one, otherwise the meat may stick.
