Lime and Mint Mojito

Lime and mint mojito my way. An easy cocktail to prepare.
I made it with mint grown in my garden… it smells amazing!!!! You know when you have a recipe in mind but you don’t have all the ingredients? So you make it anyway by changing something and find out it’s still good… That’s how my mojito was born, I didn’t have brown sugar but my family wanted it anyway and I would say it was a success. I’m also leaving you the video recipe.

Preparation of Lime and Mint Mojito

  • Let’s see how to prepare the mojito.

Cut the lime into cubes, rub the lime on the edge of the glass, and sprinkle sugar over it. Put 2 teaspoons of sugar in a glass and add half a chopped lime, slightly crush the lime to release the essential oils, in the original recipe the lime is not crushed but I wanted to try, and honestly, I like it better. Add half of the lime juice and about ten mint leaves and give it a good stir.

  • Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour the rum three-quarters of the way, and then the tonic water in the remaining part. Decorate with a slice of lime on the edge of the glass, add a few mint leaves inside, and serve with a straw.

notes
