Lime and mint mojito my way. An easy cocktail to prepare.
I made it with mint grown in my garden… it smells amazing!!!! You know when you have a recipe in mind but you don’t have all the ingredients? So you make it anyway by changing something and find out it’s still good… That’s how my mojito was born, I didn’t have brown sugar but my family wanted it anyway and I would say it was a success. I’m also leaving you the video recipe.

Preparation of Lime and Mint Mojito
Let’s see how to prepare the mojito.
Cut the lime into cubes, rub the lime on the edge of the glass, and sprinkle sugar over it. Put 2 teaspoons of sugar in a glass and add half a chopped lime, slightly crush the lime to release the essential oils, in the original recipe the lime is not crushed but I wanted to try, and honestly, I like it better. Add half of the lime juice and about ten mint leaves and give it a good stir.
Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour the rum three-quarters of the way, and then the tonic water in the remaining part. Decorate with a slice of lime on the edge of the glass, add a few mint leaves inside, and serve with a straw.
notes
Great to enjoy with salty snacks or peanuts.
