The Mimosa is a cocktail made with orange juice and Champagne or sparkling wine. Today, I am offering you the non-alcoholic mimosa cocktail, an alcohol-free version designed for those who, due to health issues or personal choice, do not consume alcohol but do not want to miss out on a delicious cocktail. It is a really simple and quick recipe known worldwide, named after its color, similar to the mimosa flower, which is why it’s often served as an appetizer especially for International Women’s Day.

Preparation of Non-Alcoholic Mimosa Cocktail
Let’s see how to prepare the cocktail.
To prepare the mimosa cocktail, cut the oranges in half and squeeze the juice using a juicer, then strain the juice with a sieve. Slice a few pieces of orange and set aside to garnish your glasses. Take the flute glasses and pour the prepared orange juice into half of the glass, then add the non-alcoholic champagne or prosecco (note that the original recipe calls for equal parts orange juice and champagne). Gently mix with a teaspoon, finish with the orange slice, and serve. Any brand will do, as long as it’s non-alcoholic. I recommend chilling the sparkling beverage in the fridge for at least half an hour to serve it slightly cold. This cocktail is mainly winter-based as it uses fresh orange juice, although some prepare it with store-bought juice, which I do not recommend as it lacks the fresh orange flavor.
Notes
As an appetizer, you can serve it with various snacks, or pair it with fish main courses or white meat dishes.
