Pavesini with Cream and Nutella

Pavesini cream and Nutella. They are very delicious treats that can be prepared in no time. Great to prepare when you have nothing sweet, and a friend comes to visit. A very simple treat to prepare. Excellent as a dessert at the end of a meal, but also great for breakfast and perfect for a snack with a good coffee.

Ingredients for Pavesini with Cream and Nutella

  • to taste Pavesini

  • to taste Nutella
  • 2 cups cups milk
  • 1/2 cup cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup cups cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lemon

Preparation of Pavesini with Cream and Nutella

  • Let’s see how to prepare Pavesini with cream and Nutella.

    First of all, prepare the cream. Bring the milk to a boil with the peel of half a lemon. In another pot, beat the eggs, sugar, and cornstarch well with a hand whisk or electric beaters. Add the grated lemon peel, continuing to mix well, making sure no lumps form.

    When the milk is ready, remove the lemon peel, wait 5 minutes for it to cool a bit, then start pouring the milk slowly into the mixture, mixing well with the whisk. Put it back on the stove over low heat, stirring carefully until it thickens, otherwise, the cream will stick. Let the cream cool a little before filling the Pavesini.

    Spread the cream on the Pavesini, spreading it well, then in the center make a layer of Nutella, avoiding the edges to keep the cream clean. Close with another Pavesino, decorate the surface of the biscuit with Nutella making stripes, helping yourself with a piping bag or a pastry syringe.

Notes

Please make sure not to squeeze the biscuits too hard when closing them, otherwise the cream will all come out. You can fill them with any type of cream. Store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for 2 days.
