Puff Pastry Roll with Mortadella, Mozzarella and Tomatoes

The Puff Pastry Roll with mortadella, mozzarella and tomatoes is a dish that will win everyone over.
It is a starter that is super quick but very tasty, extremely easy to prepare — only 4 ingredients for an explosion of flavor.
The flakiness of the puff pastry, the strong flavor of the mortadella and the softness of the mozzarella and tomato make it incredibly tasty and enjoyable.

Preparation

  • Let’s see how to prepare the roll.
Spread the puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, place the mortadella slices on top of the pastry, slice the tomatoes and place them on top of the mortadella… add a little salt. Place the mozzarella on top, sliced or in cubes.
Roll the puff pastry and seal the side edges.
Bake in a hot oven at 374°F for about 12/15 minutes or until the desired golden color is reached.

Notes

I recommend serving it hot — it’s crunchier and more flavorful. That said, it’s also good cold. It keeps for a couple of days.
