  • 14 oz Dates
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Ricotta
  • 3/8 cup Condensed milk
  • 1 cup Shelled walnuts or hazelnuts

Preparation of Ricotta Stuffed Dates

  • Let’s see how to prepare the stuffed dates.

    In a bowl, mix ricotta, sugar, and condensed milk until you get a smooth cream.

    Chop the walnuts and add them to the cream, leaving some aside for garnish, put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

    With a knife, cut lengthwise, do not cut them in half, remove the pit. Fill the dates with the prepared cream and keep them in the refrigerator… You can prepare them in the morning for the evening. 1 hour before serving remove from the refrigerator and garnish with the chopped walnut you set aside.

    Those who like can also add half a shot of Rum to the cream

Stuffed dates keep for a couple of days the same day of preparation you can keep them out of the refrigerator but if they remain, better to put them in the refrigerator in a closed container, remove from the refrigerator at least 1 hour before enjoying them.
