Preparation of roasted chicken breast with bay leaf aroma
Let’s see how to prepare the roasted chicken breast.
First, remove excess fat and small bones, divide it in half, and massage with your hands, adding salt and oregano.
In a pot, heat the oil and brown the garlic, then add the chicken breast, let it brown on both sides, and add the bay leaves.
Pour the white wine and let it evaporate; once evaporated, continue cooking on low heat with a lid, a nice sauce will form, if it seems too dry, add a bit of water or more wine. Once cooked, before slicing, let rest for 5 minutes without the lid. I assure you it will be delicious.
Notes
You can accompany the chicken breast with any type of vegetables or legumes. If there are leftovers, store them in the fridge covered with plastic wrap or simply in its cooking pot with a lid, for up to 24 hours, then just reheat for a few minutes.
