Preparation of Sweet Christmas Wreath Centerpiece

Let’s see how to prepare the Christmas wreath.

In a bowl, pour the sugar, ricotta cheese, egg, vanilla, and the grated zest of an orange, mix well until it becomes a nice homogeneous cream, then add the dark chocolate chips while stirring. Take a round baking pan and lay out the puff pastry, start filling from the outer side leaving a couple of inches, fill about 2 inches towards the center.

  • Close the edges on the outside, and on the inside, cut the dough into 8 slices with the help of a knife, then take the tip of each slice of dough and position it outward over the cream, brush the entire pastry with milk and place dark chocolate chips at each corner of the pastry, you can also add candied fruits or colorful chocolate sprinkles. Bake in a preheated oven and cook at 350°F for about 10/15 minutes or until the desired golden color. Once cooked, let it cool slightly and then decorate the center with a candle, small pine cones, and mint leaves.

notes

If you have leftovers, you can store them in the refrigerator in a closed container. It’s delicious as is, but once you serve the wreath, you can also heat it for a few minutes; it will be even more delightful.
