Today I present to you the sweet couscous dessert with chocolate, a recipe born by chance because I had leftover couscous and didn’t know what to do with it. I had some chocolate in the pantry, so I tried it, and I must confess it was a sweet discovery. A fresh, creamy, and especially very delicious dessert, gluten-free, lactose-free, and without added sugars.
An excellent snack, perfect also as an after-dinner dessert.

Preparation of Sweet Couscous Dessert with Chocolate
Let’s see how to prepare the Sweet Couscous Dessert.
In a Baking Pan, pour the couscous, add the warm water, and let it hydrate for 5 minutes. Once it has absorbed all the water, fluff it with a fork.
Melt the chocolate using a bain-marie and slightly heat the cream in a small pan, then mix it with the chocolate, adding the cocoa and stirring well. At this point, also add the couscous, mix everything, and fill the cups or glasses. Let it rest for an hour in the refrigerator; if you prepare it in summer, leave it for 2 hours to make it even fresher.
Before serving, add the desired fruit. I used pomegranate since they are starting to appear, but you can also use strawberries or berries.
notes
If you have leftovers, store them in the refrigerator for up to 2 days covered with plastic wrap. For those with a sweet tooth, you can also whip the remaining cream and decorate your glasses with cream and fruit.
