Tasty Meatballs

Tasty meatballs are an easy-to-prepare and very delicious main course. A meat mixture that we shape into balls, then coat with breadcrumbs and fry, a real treat that the whole family will enjoy, even the children.

Ingredients for Tasty Meatballs

  • 14 oz Ground meat
  • 4 slices Homemade bread
  • 1 Egg for filling (1 egg for breading)
  • 2 slices Cooked ham
  • Half Onion
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • as needed Breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • as needed Salt
  • as needed Extra virgin olive oil
  • as needed Flour

  • Absorbent paper

Preparation for Tasty Meatballs

  • Sauté the onion and add the ground meat, cook for 12/15 minutes, once cooked let it cool slightly. Meanwhile, soak the bread in water, it should soften, then squeeze well to remove excess water. In a bowl, pour the meat and squeezed bread, add the chopped parsley, diced ham, and the egg, mix well adjusting with salt.

  • Shape the mixture into balls, coat with flour, then dip in beaten egg and cover with breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a pan and start frying, cook until golden brown, once cooked drain on absorbent paper.

Notes

I recommend enjoying them hot, but they are delicious even cold. If you have leftovers, store in the refrigerator in a closed container.
