Steps to Make Baked Peppers with Primo Sale Cheese, Olives, and Capers
To prepare the baked peppers with primo sale cheese, olives, and capers, first preheat a static oven to 356°F. Now clean the peppers well, removing the cap, seeds, and white internal parts. Wash the peppers well and cut them into 4 parts. Take the primo sale cheese, drain it, pat it dry well, and then cut it into not too large pieces. Place the peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, lay the cubes of primo sale cheese over them, chop the pitted black olives, rinse the salted capers well under running water, and place these on top of the primo sale cheese.
Salt the peppers to taste and drizzle them on top with extra virgin olive oil. Bake for about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then serve! They are also good cold!
Storage and Tips
You can store the peppers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 day.
If you want more flavor, sprinkle them with grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano before cooking.
If you like, you can add some pepper.
If you like, sprinkle everything with dried oregano at the end of cooking.
