Banana Bread with Almonds and Oats Without Butter

in ,

The banana bread with almonds and oats without butter is a simple, quick-to-make, yet truly delicious dessert. Perfect for a complete breakfast, perhaps paired with a good orange juice or a cup of hot tea, it’s also great for a snack; in short, you can enjoy it at any time. I had 2 fairly ripe bananas at home, so I decided to make this delicious dessert to please the little ones. For this recipe, you can use a stand mixer if you like, but all you need is a bowl and a whisk to combine the ingredients. In this version, I added chopped almonds and oats, light and delicate, but they really complemented the dish well. The flavor is very well balanced. If you like pound cakes, you can also try:

Ingredients to prepare banana bread with almonds and oats without butter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/3 cup almonds
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats

Tools

  • Loaf pan

Steps to make banana bread with almonds and oats without butter

  • To prepare the banana bread with almonds and oats without butter, first place two eggs and sugar in the stand mixer bowl. Beat the eggs well, then add the liquids, meaning the whole milk and corn oil. After the liquids, add the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Mash the two bananas with a fork and add them to the mixture.

  • Then chop the almonds in a food processor, not too finely. Not all the almonds, I put 2 tbsps in the batter and kept 1 tbsp aside to sprinkle on top of the loaf. Add them to the batter, and finally, add the rolled oats. Mix everything well again.

  • Preheat the static oven to 350°F. Now take a 10 x 4-inch loaf pan, grease it and flour it well on all sides, then pour the batter into the pan. Sprinkle the almonds and some oats you set aside on top. Then bake at 350°F for 40 minutes. Always do the toothpick test to see if it’s done.

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool, and then serve it. Here’s your healthy and light loaf cake, very tasty.

Storage and Tips

You can store the banana bread in an airtight container for a couple of days.

If you want it to be even tastier, you can add a little ground cinnamon and chocolate chips.

If you wish, you can use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.
