Bloody Halloween Hotdogs

The bloody Halloween hotdogs are a perfect appetizer/main course for this holiday. Enjoy making these soft buns with sausages with your kids. In this case, I boiled the sausages and added only ketchup to create the fake blood. Then, if you want to make them even more delicious, you can add mustard and mayonnaise. Ingredients for making bloody Halloween hotdogs

  • 2 chicken and turkey sausages
  • 2 Buns (For hotdogs)

Steps to make bloody Halloween hotdogs

  • To prepare the bloody Halloween hotdogs, first take some sausages. I chose chicken and turkey, but you can also use pork if you prefer. Score them with a knife to create nails and cut them to approximately the length of your hotdog bun. Also, make small cuts on the sausages to create fake fingers. Place a pan of water on the stove, and once it reaches a boil, cook the sausages for about 10 minutes. Now take the hotdog buns, cut them lengthwise, and add ketchup. If you want to add cheese slices to recreate nails, wait for the sausages to cool down, or the cheese will melt.

  • Now place the sausages in the bun and enjoy your meal! Very simple but very tasty!

You can store the hotdogs in the fridge for up to one day.

You can use cheese slices to recreate the nail or you can omit it or use another type of cheese.
