Breaded chicken cutlets are a really good main course. They are simple, quick, very tasty, with a crunchy breading and very tender meat. They are one of the favorite dishes for adults and children, especially when paired with delicious potato chips! They require very few ingredients, flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs for breading, and of course, chicken breast. I preferred to buy thin slices of chicken breast. If you want, you can add Parmesan to the classic breading to make the meat even more flavorful. Here are some ideas for main courses:

Ingredients for preparing breaded chicken cutlets
- 10.5 oz chicken breast (thinly sliced)
- 2 eggs (medium)
- as needed all-purpose flour
- as needed breadcrumbs
- 1 pinch salt
- as needed extra virgin olive oil
Tools
- Frying pan
Steps for making breaded chicken cutlets
To prepare the breaded chicken cutlets, first make the breading. Beat the eggs in a dish or bowl with a pinch of salt using a fork. If you wish, you can also add a pinch of black pepper. Take another plate and pour the all-purpose flour, and in another, the breadcrumbs. Now pass each slice of chicken breast first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
Take a large non-stick pan, pour extra virgin olive oil or seed oil and let the meat brown for a couple of minutes on each side, until golden. Drain and let the excess oil drip off by placing the slices of meat on sheets of absorbent paper.
You can pair the cutlets with french fries or with a side dish of vegetables, maybe grilled.
Storage and tips
You can store your breaded chicken cutlets in the refrigerator for a couple of days at most
You can choose thicker or thinner meat. The thinner will become crunchier
If you want it even crunchier, you can also do a double breading
You can choose whether to cook the cutlet in oil or clarified butter
