Steps to make Christmas brownies with chocolate and chips without butter

  • To prepare the Christmas brownies with chocolate and chips without butter, first melt the dark chocolate either in a bain-marie or in the microwave. I chose to melt the chocolate in the microwave. Then wait for it to cool. In the meantime, prepare the batter. In a bowl, combine the eggs and sugar and start creating a frothy mixture with the help of an electric whisk or a stand mixer, then add the liquids, that is, the corn oil and whole milk slowly, if possible keep it at room temperature. When the chocolate has cooled, add it to the mixture and also add the sifted all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt. Lastly, add the chocolate chips and mix everything well.

  • Meanwhile, preheat the static oven to 356°F. Take a baking pan lined with parchment paper, I used a 11×9-inch pan, and pour the batter into it. If you see that the parchment paper is struggling to stay in the pan, I recommend wetting it with water and then squeezing it well. I always do it this way. Then bake the brownies for about 20 minutes. Always do the toothpick test to see if they are cooked. The inside should remain soft.

  • Take out of the oven and let them cool completely.
You can then take the cake and form your desired Christmas shapes; I chose the Christmas tree, the gingerbread man, and the candy cane. Finally, I decorated them with powdered sugar on top and added colorful chocolates.
