Steps to make cocoa banana bread without butter
To make the cocoa banana bread without butter, first take a large bowl and mash the bananas with a fork after peeling. Then add the 2 eggs, the liquids (whole milk and corn oil), then add the all-purpose flour and baking powder for desserts, sugar, mix with a hand whisk, finally add the unsweetened cocoa and a pinch of salt. Lastly, add the chocolate chips and mix everything well with a wooden spoon. Meanwhile, preheat the static oven to 350°F. If you want, you can also do everything with the stand mixer if it’s more convenient.
Now oil and flour a loaf pan measuring 10 x 4 inches. Pour all the mixture and bake. Cook for about 40 minutes. To be sure the cake is cooked, always do the toothpick test. Try inserting a toothpick in the center of the cake and check if it is cooked; if it is still wet, continue baking a little longer; if it is dry, then the cake is done.
Remove your cocoa banana bread without butter from the oven and let it cool before removing it from the pan, then serve it.
Storage and Tips
You can store the banana bread at room temperature under a glass dome or in an airtight container.
You can omit the chocolate chips and add just the cocoa. Or add the chips and remove the cocoa.
If you want to add even more flavor, you can add some ground cinnamon or nuts.
