  • 10.5 oz green beans
  • 7 oz potatoes (Weighed without skin)

Steps to Make Green Beans and Potatoes

  • To prepare green beans and potatoes, first clean the green beans well by removing the ends and washing them thoroughly under running water. Then take a pot with plenty of water and put it on the stove. Add salt and when it boils, simmer the green beans for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, peel the potatoes and cut them into fairly small cubes. After 10 minutes, cook the potatoes together with the green beans for another 10 minutes. Once done, drain them in a colander. Take a pan, pour some extra virgin olive oil, and cook the green beans and potatoes for a couple of minutes over a fairly high flame, stirring gently with a wooden spoon. Add some salt and pepper to season them well.
