Steps to make the Parmesan baskets
To prepare the microwave Parmesan baskets, first prepare some parchment paper squares about 8 inches in size. To prepare a large crisp, I used about 20 grams of Parmesan (3 tablespoons of Parmesan). Use a spoon to spread the cheese well. Be careful not to leave too little cheese in the center, otherwise you risk breaking them.
Take the sheet of parchment paper and place it in the microwave. I have a microwave oven of 700 W and I left the crisps to cook for 50 seconds. The edges of the crisps should be lightly golden but not too much. At this point, if you want, you can keep the crisps flat, but if you want to give them a basket shape, take the hot crisp from the microwave and place it on the bottom of a glass, trying to shape it as you wish.
When they are completely cooled, you can remove the parchment paper and serve them.
Storage and Tips
To keep them crispy, it is recommended to serve and enjoy them immediately, as they may become too soft. In that case, try passing them in a traditional oven.
