Steps to Make Nutella French Toast Roll Ups
To prepare Nutella French Toast Roll Ups, first take the sandwich bread slices; I used pre-squared, crustless white ones, but if you have long sandwich bread, you can use that too and cut it into squares. Flatten the sandwich slices with a rolling pin so they become a little thinner. Spread each slice of bread with Nutella and roll them up to form a roll, pressing well with your hands so they stay closed.
Beat 1 medium egg in a bowl or a plate using a fork and dip the rolls in the egg. Now melt the butter in a large enough pan and cook the rolls. Let them brown for a couple of minutes on each side, turning them often, so they are uniformly golden on all sides. When they are ready, place them on a plate, and if you like, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
Your French toast is ready to be served! They are delicious hot but also cold!
