Steps to make shortcrust pastry horns with Nutella
To prepare the shortcrust pastry horns with Nutella, first unroll one roll of shortcrust pastry. Divide it into 8 pieces using a pizza cutter or a knife. Place a teaspoon of Nutella in the wider part of each horn.
Roll the horn onto itself starting from the wider side toward the tip of the triangle. If you like, you can slightly tuck the tips of the horns to prevent them from opening during baking. Preheat the conventional oven (no fan) to 356°F and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place the horns on the parchment paper. Brush them with milk and, if you wish, sprinkle brown sugar on top as I did. Bake for about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Your horns are ready to be eaten! Simple but delicious!
Storage and tips
You can store them in an airtight container for up to 2 or 3 days at room temperature.
If you don’t like brown sugar you can omit it and dust with powdered sugar after baking.
