I always thought that gnocchi could only be made with potatoes, but one day watching my mom prepare them, I thought I could make them too for my family.
These Water Gnocchi Monsieur Cousine are gnocchi made only with water and flour, very simple but especially quick to prepare! One of those recipes you can make when you don’t have much time available 🙂
This time I wanted to prepare them with the food processor I have at home, the Monsieur Cousine Connect. For the dough, I used the food processor and then rolled the dough out on the work surface and created nice rolls and shaped the gnocchi. For the seasoning, you can decide what you like best! In this case, I seasoned them with tomato and oregano, simple but delicious!
You can find other recipes for Monsieur Cousine Connect, for example, the potato and leek soup, or the pizza dough with type 2 flour and Manitoba! Fabulous!

- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Cooking time: 2 Minutes
- Portions: 2
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups Water
- to taste Salt
Preparation of the gnocchi
First, to prepare the water gnocchi, place the water and salt in the bowl, set for 4 minutes, 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius) at speed 1.
Then add the sifted flour for 20 seconds at speed 4 and finally transfer the dough onto a well-floured work surface and continue to knead the dough by hand.
Shape the gnocchi by making rolls and let them rest for about 20 minutes. Cook them in salted water and then season with tomato and oregano or as you prefer. I must say the gnocchi came out nice and firm and not too soft.
