Nutella mousse with Kinder bars is a fresh and indulgent dessert that can be prepared in just a few minutes. Certainly, among the many hazelnut desserts on my blog, this Nutella version I suggest is one of the tastiest. You only need three ingredients, ten minutes, and a huge sweet tooth!
This mousse contains no eggs and requires no cooking: it’s pure goodness to serve in single-serving glasses, to use as a filling for zeppole, or simply to eat by the spoonful.
Let’s head to the kitchen and make it together!

Steps to prepare Nutella mousse with Kinder bars
Before starting, here are some secrets to get a silky, stable mousse.
The Nutella should be fluid but absolutely not hot. If you heat it too much, it will instantly melt the cream. If it’s too cold and hard, it will create lumps inside the cream.
Use fresh liquid whipping cream, kept in the fridge until the last second.
When adding the Nutella to the cream, use a spatula and make slow folding movements from the bottom upward.
In a cup pour 5 tbsp of liquid cream together with the Kinder bars. Heat the mixture in the microwave for a very short time. It should not boil, just become fluid.
In a bowl whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Put the Nutella in a large bowl and add a couple of tablespoons of whipped cream. Mix well to soften the Nutella.
At this point, gently fold in the rest of the whipped cream with the spatula until the color is uniform. Add the melted cream with the Kinder bars (that you heated in the microwave) and some crushed hazelnuts. Gently mix everything together.
Let rest in the fridge for at least one hour before enjoying. And here it is ready, all that’s left is to taste it!

FAQ (Questions & Answers)
Can I prepare the mousse the day before?
Absolutely yes. In fact, it is recommended to prepare it at least 3–4 hours before serving to allow the Nutella and chocolate to firm up, achieving a light, perfect texture.
How can I melt the Kinder bars without burning them?
The best method is the microwave at low power (300–400 W) for a maximum of 20 seconds, stirring each time.
