The soft Nutella cake is a very soft dessert ideal for breakfast or snack, but it can also be served as a classic Sunday dessert after lunch. Lately, my eye kept falling on the pantry, and I had in mind to make something sweet for the kids to eat for breakfast. Having everything I needed, I decided to prepare this soft, fluffy, and very tasty cake. I couldn’t resist filling it with Nutella, much desired by everyone in the family.

Ingredients for Soft Nutella Cake
- 3 eggs
- 1.25 cups sugar
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 container yogurt (I used vanilla yogurt)
- 1 container milk
- 1 container vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons Nutella®
- 1 packet vanillin
- 1 packet baking powder
- as needed powdered sugar

- 1 Mixer
- 1 Pan
- 1 Spoon
Steps for Soft Nutella Cake
In a bowl, place the eggs with the sugar and beat with an electric mixer for 5 minutes. Add yogurt and milk at room temperature, continue to mix for a few seconds.
Add vegetable oil and the packet of vanillin, mix for a few minutes, adding the flour little by little.
Finally, add the sifted packet of baking powder. Mix well until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter. Butter and flour a 9.5-inch pan, pour half of the batter, and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F.
Remove from oven and spread Nutella on the cake layer, without going over the edges. Cover with the remaining batter and bake for another 15 minutes. Once ready, let it cool slightly.
Let it cool and place it on a plate. Sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar and all that’s left is to slice it and enjoy.
