They consist of a crunchy shell of cereals coated in dark or milk chocolate, with small eggs in the center as an Easter surprise. Perfect for involving both kids and adults in the kitchen, chocolate nests can be served as a dessert or turned into a sweet gift for friends and relatives. • Pour the cereals into a large bowl. Add the melted chocolate and gently fold until the cereals are completely coated without breaking them too much.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or prepare muffin molds. Form small mounds with the chocolate-and-cereal mixture.

  • Create a hollow in the center of each mound with the back of a spoon or with slightly damp fingers to form the “nest”.

  • Put them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, until the chocolate has set. Gently place 2–3 chocolate or sugar eggs in the center of each nest. If desired, fix the eggs with a little melted chocolate to ensure greater stability. Then decorate with strands of melted chocolate using a piping bag.

  • Carefully detach the Easter nests from the parchment paper and serve them in paper muffin cups.

  • Bon appétit and… see you in the next recipe!
