Ingredients
- 12 Pleurotus mushrooms
- to taste salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 3.5 oz fontina cheese
- 3.5 oz breadcrumbs
- 3.5 oz all-purpose flour
Tools
- 1 Baking Pan
- Parchment Paper
Steps
Clean the mushrooms well with a paper towel
Beat the eggs in a bowl
Add salt and pepper.
Place a generous slice of ham and fontina on each mushroom
Close with another mushroom
Do the same with the other mushrooms until they’re finished
First pass the cordons in the flour
then in the egg
and then in the breadcrumbs
Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper drizzled with olive oil
Season with extra virgin olive oil and bake in a preheated fan oven at 356°F for 20/25 minutes
If desired, you can bread them and dip them in the egg twice: first in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, and then again egg and breadcrumbs.
