Ingredients

  • 8 prawns
  • to taste breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste salt
  • to taste mint

Tools

  • Baking Sheets

Steps

  • Proceed to make our gratinated prawns with mint, a quick recipe.
    Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Wash the prawns in cold water.
Proceed with cleaning the prawns. Place the prawn on the cutting board, with the head facing you. Insert the scissors into the shell, then cut the back. Insert a stick inside, in the created cut until you reach the intestinal thread. Lift the intestine, gently pull it, first from the head side, then from the other side, being careful not to break it. (I left the head on)
Now proceed with the breading. In a dish, mix the breadcrumbs and chopped mint, salt, pepper, and minced garlic clove (the latter is optional).
Take the prawns, immerse them in breadcrumbs and place on the shell.
Pour some extra virgin olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 20 minutes. When they become more colored, they are cooked.

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. My name is Francesca, a true native of Taranto. I love cooking desserts and traditional dishes, and my inspiration comes from the women in my family. Photography, for me, is about capturing the moment… in a shot, you hold your breath and then start again, savoring every little detail as you develop it. Why Ethra? She was the wife of Phalanthus, the founder of Taranto, the Spartan city. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all… there are already so many of you following me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
