Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day, accounting for 20% of our daily caloric needs, but we don’t always know how to manage and enjoy it in a nutritionally balanced way! Foods with a low glycemic index should be preferred to avoid the problem of nervous hunger and harmful blood sugar spikes. So, go for a hearty and healthy breakfast to ensure the right energy! After this meal, the body wakes up, hormones regularize, and metabolism is reactivated. This is really important for maintaining a healthy weight, as the body is ready to receive the calories from food, making it easier to maintain a balance in subsequent meals, especially if you are on a diet. After the tower with yogurt and blueberries, here is another delicious alternative that evokes one of the quintessential Italian desserts, tiramisu! Of course, fit! The base is the same: whole grain toast softened in milk and coffee and layered with Greek yogurt, sprinkled with cocoa powder, and dark chocolate shavings. Finally, a touch of homemade tahini and more chocolate shavings. I then added a handful of fresh fruit, but it’s absolutely optional. Paired with a beverage of your choice, this tower will give you the right boost to face the day and a sense of fullness until the next meal!
