Ingredients for the Orange, Carrot, and Lemon Cake
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 1/3 tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 lemon (untreated)
- orange (untreated)
- 5 oz carrots
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 packet baking powder (8 grams)
- as needed powdered sugar (for decoration)
What You Need to Prepare the Orange and Carrot Cake
- Hand Mixer
- Bundt Cake Pan
- Citrus Juicer
How to Prepare the ACE Cake
To prepare this recipe, you’ll need one untreated orange and one untreated lemon. Wash the citrus fruits. Grate the zest and juice them to extract the juice. Peel the carrots, cut them into pieces, and blend them in a mixer with the vegetable oil.
A delicious orange cream will form. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using an electric hand mixer for 6-7 minutes until you have a light and fluffy mixture.
Add the carrot cream, the orange, and lemon juice.
Also add the grated zest of the orange and lemon, and mix.
Add the sifted flour and the baking powder, and mix.
Pour the batter into a 22 cm diameter greased or buttered bundt cake pan.
Bake the Carrot and Orange Cake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 35-40 minutes.
Let the Carrot and Orange Cake cool before turning it out onto a serving plate and decorate as desired with powdered sugar.
