A soft, moist inside, and very fragrant cake, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or any time of the day. Ingredients for the Apple and Plum Cake
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar (+ 4 tablespoons for decoration)
- 1 apple (large)
- 14 oz plums
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 1/2 tbsps butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 packet baking powder for desserts (8 grams)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How to Prepare the Apple and Plum Cake
Beat the 2 eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer for 5-7 minutes until you have a light and fluffy mixture.
Add the melted butter and milk to the eggs. Mix
Add the sifted flour, cinnamon, and baking powder. Mix
Clean the apple and cut it into small cubes. Wash the plums and cut them into small pieces.
Add the apple and plum cubes to the batter and mix with a spatula to incorporate them into the batter
Pour the batter into a greased or parchment paper-lined 8.7 x 11 inches rectangular pan. Level with a spatula
Sprinkle the surface with 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Bake the Apple and Plum Cake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 35-40 minutes
Always do the toothpick test to check cooking even inside the cake. Let the cake cool before transferring it to a tray
