Ingredients for Oven-Baked Bell Peppers
- 1 1/3 lbs bell peppers
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp capers
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 sprig basil
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
How to Prepare Baked Bell Peppers
Wash the bell peppers. Clean them by removing the stem, internal seeds, and white veins. Then cut them into thin strips. Oil a baking dish and place the bell peppers in it, not too thickly.
Prepare the breading. Pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt, chopped capers, chopped parsley, and chopped basil. Also add a finely chopped garlic clove. Mix well.
Pour the breading over the bell peppers to cover them somewhat evenly. A drizzle of oil on the surface. Cook the Bell Peppers in the preheated oven at 375°F for 18-20 minutes.
For air fryer cooking: at 375°F for 16-18 minutes
