Ingredients for Breaded Fennel
- 2 fennel
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 bunch parsley
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- 1 pinch pepper
How to Prepare Baked Gratined Fennel
Clean the fennel by removing the outer parts and stalks. Wash them and then slice them thinly
Pour the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan into a bowl.
Add chopped parsley, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Mix
Oil a large baking dish. Sprinkle 3-4 tablespoons of the breading on the bottom
Arrange the fennel slices next to each other in the baking dish without overlapping them.
Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top. Spread the breading over the fennel slices.
Another drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on top. Let the fennel bake in a preheated static oven at 375°F for 20-22 minutes
