Baked white pasta with peas, ham, and mozzarella, the main course that wins everyone over at the table. One of the dishes that is never missing at my house on Sundays and holidays is Baked Pasta. A dish that for me smells of memories, of the slow and noisy family lunches of my childhood, where baked pasta was essential. Besides the classic baked pasta that my mom always made with meatballs, cooked ham, and scamorza cheese, there are many different but always special versions. Just like the recipe I want to tell you about today: a Baked Pasta with béchamel, peas, and ham. A main course that I prepared for Sunday lunch, but I would say it’s also perfect to make any ordinary day special. I recommend not missing the recipe for Lasagna with béchamel and ragù and the recipe for Baked pasta with zucchini and speck. Let’s run to the kitchen and prepare an irresistible Baked pasta with peas and ham

Ingredients for Baked Pasta with Peas
- 12.7 oz pasta (your preferred shape)
- 1.75 cups béchamel
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 7 oz mozzarella
- 8.8 oz frozen peas
- 1.75 oz grated Parmesan
- to taste salt
How to prepare Baked White Pasta
To prepare baked pasta, you can use store-bought béchamel or make it following my béchamel recipe. Bring plenty of salted water to a boil and add both the still-frozen peas and the pasta, the shape you have chosen. Cook until done.
Drain the pasta with the peas and place it in a bowl. Add the cooked ham and mozzarella in small pieces. Also, add the béchamel and mix with 2 tablespoons.
Pour the pasta into an ovenproof dish and top with plenty of grated Parmesan. Bake the Pasta with peas in a hot oven at 375°F for 18-20 minutes. In the last few minutes of cooking, set the oven to grill for an irresistible crust.
See you tomorrow with a new recipe, hugs, Loredana
