Ingredients for Christmas Tartines
- 12 savory biscuits for aperitif (round)
- 1 cup fresh spreadable cheese (like Philadelphia)
- 1 cup zucchini
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- 1/4 cup pickled vegetables
- 1 slice scamorza (sliced)
What you need to prepare the Tartines with zucchini
- Immersion Blender
- Pastry Bag
How to prepare Christmas Tree Tartines
Wash the zucchini. Cut them into cubes and place them in the glass of an immersion blender. Add a pinch of salt, the grated parmesan, and one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Blend until you obtain a soft green cream. Add the fresh spreadable cheese to the zucchini cream and mix.
Transfer the zucchini cream to a pastry bag with a large star nozzle. Place round savory biscuits on a tray or serving plate. Starting from the center, make concentric circles with the cream, squeezing and rising to simulate the shape of a little tree.
You can make them as big or small as you like. Cut small stars from a slice of cheese, even just a slice of processed cheese, and place them on top of the cream. Cut the pickled vegetables into small cubes and distribute them to decorate the little tree Tartines.
