Crispy chicken wings fried, baked, or air-fried. The recipe I want to share with you today is for a second course starring delicious chicken wings with a tasty breading. I fried them, but you can also bake or air fry them, and they will always be delicious. Chicken wings, often underrated, are inexpensive and I like them a lot. I usually bake them without breading; you can find my recipe for Baked Chicken Wings. Chicken wings with curry and paprika, crispy and delicious. They are prepared in a few minutes and then you just have to decide how to cook the Fried Chicken Wings

Ingredients for Crispy Chicken Wings
- 1.76 lbs chicken wings
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 tbsp herbs
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp curry
- to taste salt
- 10 oz vegetable oil
How to prepare the Chicken Wings
Divide the chicken wings into small pieces or have your trusted butcher do it. Beat the egg with a pinch of salt in a bowl. In a bowl, mix the flour with the herbs, curry, and paprika.
Now coat the chicken wings in the flour mixture, making sure it sticks well all over. Once you’ve breaded them all, pass them one by one first in the egg and then again in the flour. Prepare them all in the same way.
The Chicken Wings prepared like this can be fried as I did in hot vegetable oil, allowing them to brown nicely all over at medium heat to ensure they are cooked well inside. Or you can bake them in the oven at 392°F for 25 minutes, laying them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and slightly brushing the tops with oil. Or you can also cook them in an air fryer for 14-15 minutes at 392°F.
Loredana’s Tips
If you have leftover Fried Chicken Wings, store them in the refrigerator in a container for one day. You just need to reheat them in the oven for a few minutes to make them crispy like freshly made.
You can replace the herbs with your preferred choice.
For the paprika, you can use either sweet or hot varieties.
