Ingredients for Baked Tomatoes

  • 0.66 lbs cherry tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon herbs
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • to taste salt

How to Prepare Gratinated Cherry Tomatoes

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes. Cut them in half. Try to choose cherry tomatoes of more or less the same size to ensure even cooking. Arrange the tomatoes in a baking dish with the cut side up.

  • Lightly salt the inside of the tomatoes. Mix the breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese, chopped garlic clove, and herbs in a bowl.

  • Mix the topping. For the herbs, you can use your favorites or just one. Place a teaspoon of the prepared topping on each half of the tomato.

  • Drizzle them with olive oil. Cook the cherry tomatoes in a preheated static oven at 375°F for 20 minutes.
