How to Make Muffins with Pears and Cocoa
To make the Muffins with pears, you need 2 large pears, or if you’re using small pears, you need about 14-16 oz. Peel the pears and cut half of one pear into small slices and the rest into cubes.
Beat an egg with the sugar in a bowl for 3-4 minutes, preferably with the help of an electric mixer. Add one cup of plain yogurt and the vegetable oil. Mix.
Continue the preparation by adding the sifted flour, baking powder, and unsweetened cocoa. Mix well.
Finally, add the pear cubes and mix with a spatula to incorporate them into the batter. Fill 2/3 of the silicone muffin cups with the batter. I got 9.
Finally, add 2-3 pear slices, letting them sink slightly into the batter. Bake the Muffins with pears and cocoa in the preheated static oven at 340°F for 18-20 minutes.
Always perform the toothpick test to check the cooking inside. Let them cool and decorate as you like with powdered sugar.
See you tomorrow with a new recipe, best regards, Loredana
