Ingredients for the Orange and Chocolate Cake
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 oranges (untreated)
- 3.5 tbsps butter (melted)
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- to taste powdered sugar (for decoration)
- 1/2 packet baking powder (8 grams)
What you need to prepare the Orange Cake

How to prepare the Orange and Chocolate Cake
Wash the oranges. Grate the zest of one orange and squeeze the oranges to obtain the juice. For this recipe, you need 0.55 cups of orange juice.
Whip the 2 whole eggs with the sugar for 6-7 minutes using an electric mixer until you have a light and frothy mixture.
Add the melted butter, juice, and zest of the oranges. Mix well.
Add the sifted flour and potato starch and the baking powder. Mix.
Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula to incorporate them into the batter.
Pour the batter into a 9 x 11 inch rectangular pan greased or lined with parchment paper. Bake the Orange Cake in the preheated oven in static mode for 35-40 minutes.
Always do the toothpick test to check the internal baking. Let it cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
