How to prepare the Orange Plumcake
To prepare the Orange Plumcake you need 2 unwaxed oranges to use their peel as well. Wash the oranges well. Grate them to obtain the zest, only the orange part. Squeeze them to obtain the juice. You need about 1/2 cup of orange juice. If it’s not enough, squeeze another half orange.
Beat 2 whole eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer for about 7-8 minutes until you have a light and frothy mixture. Add to the eggs the vegetable oil, the orange juice, and zest. Mix.
Continue the preparation by adding the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. My pan measures 8 x 4.5 inches. Bake the Orange Plumcake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 35-40 minutes.
Always do the toothpick test to check the cake’s doneness even inside. Let it cool before removing it from the pan and transferring it to a tray. Dust it with powdered sugar as desired.

Yes, with 50 grams of melted butter
Can I replace all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour?
Yes, of course, use the gluten-free flour you usually use for baking. Alternatively, you could use half rice flour and half buckwheat flour, both naturally gluten-free
