Ingredients of Oven-baked Gratin Carrots

  • 14 oz carrots
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • to taste salt

How to prepare the Crunchy Carrots

  • Peel the carrots. Cut them into 2-3 pieces, then into thick slices and then into sticks. Pour the carrots into a bowl and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Mix with 2 spoons to oil all the sticks.

  • Now add a pinch of salt, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, and chopped parsley. Mix with 2 spoons to adhere the breading to the carrots.

  • Transfer the carrots to a baking pan in a single thin layer and finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Let the Carrot Sticks bake in a static hot oven at 375°F for 23-25 minutes. Test the cooking by poking them with a fork.
