I prepared a simple and quick dessert with peaches, a roll of puff pastry, and delicious custard. The only difficult part of this Peach Dessert is making the custard, but you can make it in advance and store it in the fridge. Ingredients for Puff Pastry Swirls with Peaches
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 1 1/4 cups custard
- 1 1/2 lbs nectarines
- 4 tbsp milk
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
How to prepare Puff Pastry Roses with Peaches and Cream
Prepare the custard following my recipe found HERE. Wash the peaches and slice them thinly. Roll out the rectangular puff pastry sheet on the work surface and cut it into strips.
My strips are about 1 1/4 inches wide. Spread each puff pastry rectangle with the custard and place 4-5 peach slices on top
Roll each puff pastry into a swirl and place them in silicone muffin cups, disposable aluminum ones, or simply paper muffin liners placed in the appropriate baking pan with holes
Prepare them all in the same way. Brush them with milk and decorate with brown sugar. Bake the Peach and Cream Swirls in a hot oven at 356°F in static mode for 18-20 minutes.
