Ingredients for the Strawberries Puff Pastry
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 10.6 oz strawberries
- 10.6 oz custard
- 4 tbsps milk (for brushing)
- 4 tbsps brown sugar (for decoration)
- to taste powdered sugar
How to prepare the Puff Pastry with cream and strawberries
First, prepare the cream following my Custard recipe and let it cool. Wash the strawberries, let them drain well, and cut them into small pieces.
Roll out a rectangular puff pastry sheet on the work surface. Divide the puff pastry into 8 rectangles. Mine measure approximately 4 x 5.5 inches. On half of each puff pastry rectangle, place 2-3 tablespoons of cream.
Place strawberry cubes on the cream. Fold the puff pastry over to cover the filling. Seal well all around. Arrange the Pastries with cream and strawberries slightly spaced on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush them with milk and decorate with some brown sugar. Make 3 horizontal cuts on the surface. Let the Puff Pastry with strawberries and cream bake in a static oven at 356°F for 18-20 minutes.

Loredana’s Tips
The puff pastries can be stored in a container for one day. Over time the puff pastry tends to soften due to the presence of cream and strawberries
For a more indulgent treat, you can add chocolate chips or small pieces of dark chocolate to the filling
