Ingredients for the Puff Pastry Pie with Potatoes and Salmon

  • 1 roll puff pastry (round)
  • 5.6 oz smoked salmon
  • 1.1 lbs potatoes
  • 7.1 oz crescenza cheese
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

How to prepare the Savory Pie with Potatoes and Salmon

  • Peel the potatoes and wash them. Cook the potatoes in salted water for about 30-35 minutes. The cooking time of the potatoes depends on their size and type. I recommend choosing them more or less the same size to ensure even cooking.

  • Test the potatoes’ doneness by piercing them with a fork. Drain, let them cool, and then cut them into cubes. Also, slice the smoked salmon into strips.

  • Place a round puff pastry roll in a 10-inch diameter baking dish lined with parchment paper. Poke the bottom with a fork.

  • Arrange the potato cubes on the bottom. Distribute the salmon strips on top. Lightly oil. Finish with lots of crescenza cheese cubes.

  • Fold the edges all around. Cook the Savory Pie with Potatoes and Salmon in a preheated oven at 374°F in static mode for about 25 minutes.
