TUSCAN KALE CHIPS ready in just a few minutes

Tuscan kale chips the simple and quick recipe. Black kale is a recent discovery for me. Unfortunately, here in my area of Puglia, it’s not easy to find; we are more into turnip greens or broccoli! After the recipe for Tuscan kale pesto, today I want to tell you how I prepared some delicious and crunchy Crispy Tuscan kale chips ready in just a few minutes and so good.  Kale contains very few calories, 49 calories per 100 grams, has diuretic, antioxidant, and laxative properties, and is also perfect for stomach and intestine health. All these properties make it a “superfood” for our well-being. I baked my chips in the oven, but an air fryer works just as well. Just kale and a few other ingredients, and you’ll taste something so delicious! Let’s head to the kitchen and prepare some irresistible Chips with Tuscan kale

Ingredients for Crispy Tuscan Kale Chips

  • 9 oz Tuscan kale
  • 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • 2 pinches pepper

How to prepare Kale Chips

  • Wash the kale leaves, then let them dry on a tea towel. Remove the central vein where it is thicker. Cut them into pieces, getting about 6 or 7 from each leaf.

  • Place the kale pieces in a bowl and season with a pinch of salt, 2 pinches of pepper, and olive oil. Gently toss them with 2 tablespoons to coat all the leaves.

  • Line a baking sheet or large tray with parchment paper. Spread the kale leaves on it in a thin layer without overlapping them too much. Let them bake in the preheated oven at 356°F on a fan setting for 15-16 minutes. Be careful not to let them burn as they are very delicate.
