Valentine’s Day Tiramisù a delicious and special dessert. There’s very little time left for the most romantic holiday of the year, so I can’t help but leave you with a heart-themed Valentine’s Day recipe. The dessert we all love in a romantic version to win over even the coldest heart. The Tiramisù in a special heart shape perfect for a romantic evening. You prepare it ahead of time and serve it after a candlelight dinner, and I’m sure it will be a success. I made a version without eggs and added a gelatin sheet so you can unmold it without it collapsing. If you prepare it in advance, you can also freeze it. Ingredients for the Tiramisù Hearts
- 16 ladyfingers
- 3.4 oz coffee
- 3.4 oz milk
- 6.3 oz mascarpone
- 3.4 oz fresh whipping cream
- 2.1 oz powdered sugar
- 1 sheet gelatin sheets (2-3 grams)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
What you need to make Valentine’s Day Hearts
- Molds
How to make Heart-shaped Tiramisù
Let the gelatin soften in a small bowl with cold water. Whip the fresh cream with the addition of powdered sugar. Gently fold the mascarpone into the whipped cream.
Mix the coffee with the milk in a bowl. I prefer to dip the ladyfingers in the coffee extended with milk, but if you prefer, you can use only coffee. You need to line the base of 2 heart-shaped molds, so cut the ladyfingers to the appropriate size.
I prefer to remove the base and place each mold on a plate. Soak the ladyfingers in the coffee-milk mix and line the base of the molds, trying to cover the entire bottom with small pieces. Squeeze the gelatin gently, let it melt in 2 tablespoons of warm milk, and add it to the mascarpone cream. Mix well.
Spread half of the cream over the ladyfinger base, distributing it in the 2 molds. Cover with more ladyfingers dipped in the milk and coffee. Finish with the remaining cream. Transfer the 2 tiramisùs to the fridge to firm up for at least an hour or more.
Gently remove the heart shape and decorate your Valentine’s Day Tiramisù with a generous sprinkling of unsweetened cocoa. For a special decoration, I placed two cardboard hearts before dusting the cocoa, which I then gently lifted with tweezers.
See you tomorrow with a new recipe, a hug, Loredana
